Float Lounge Resurfaces
The Float Lounge, which allows patrons to experience weightlessness in a flotation tank, re-opens Saturday, Jan. 23, at 1031 S. Coast Highway, in the Hip District.
The business operated for three years in its original location in Woods Cove but had been on hiatus since last June as the owners looked for a place to relocate.
The new location will continue to offer floatation and light therapy in private float tanks filled with Epsom salt saturated warm water. “From detoxifying and rehabilitating to rest and meditation, our float tanks have gained popularity since reintroducing them to Orange County,” co-owner Rosanne Ramirez said in a statement. She operates the business with her partner, Jeff Brion, and both are local residents.

Guests will be treated to an open bar, a four-course dinner, and live and silent auctions, and a musical stage performance.
The gala commemorates ASF’s 30 years of service and honors donors who have lent their support. Thirty major contributors will be honored along with the contributors to “Splash,” the party in the Laguna Beach backyard of Ken Jillson and Al Roberts, that provided the seed money to get ASF up and running in 1985.
