This month’s Coffee Break will feature local psychologist and author Dr. Thomas Habib during a 7-9 p.m. seminar at Aliso Creek Inn on Wednesday, Jan. 18, allowing working parents to participate in the PTA sponsored workshops.
Dr. Habib will explore how parents can help children channel their spontaneous childhood energies into goals and purposes. He will cover some of the day-to-day decisions about discipline and specifically discuss what helps children to become achievers.
Habib, a clinical psychologist known for his work with couples and family therapy, is known among pediatricians and school administrators for his work helping families experiencing problems at CHOC and Mission Hospital.
The Carlsbad resident is the author of “If These Walls Could Talk.”
