We agree with Ben Earl (“Anti-Trump Diatribe Belongs Elsewhere,” Feb. 2) regarding Billy Fried’s column. Fried’s opinions on national politics and his personal attacks have no place in the Laguna Beach Independent. We get enough of them everyday on the nightly news, CNN, and newspapers.
Please keep the Indy about local issues that impact those of us living in Laguna Beach. The Indy’s letter policy, no “personal attacks”, should be extended to your column writers. The column adds no value to the paper.
