Two Laguna Beach professionals have teamed up to help businesses get a fresh perspective on marketing. The first Mind’s Eye Marketing Workshop will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m.-noon, in the community room at Buy Hand Laguna Beach, 670 S. Coast Highway, and costs $50.

“In this collaborative workshop, we’ll unplug and focus on developing a inspirational vision and narrative for your business (or your job search, nonprofit organization or campaign) using words and images,” explained writer-marketer Ellen Kempler. This unique approach starts with a creative brainstorming session and ends with a walk around the neighborhood with Laguna Beach photographer Mary Hurlbut.

Both also possess nonprofit and arts experience. Together, they will help participants learn how to combine words and images for messages that will make people take notice in any medium.
