The article “A New Act for Playhouse’s Artistic Director” in the Nov. 23 edition incorrectly stated that Ann Wareham worked under the previous artistic director and inaccurately described “I Left My Heart” as a solo show. Two statements attributed to Wareham were also imprecise. In forecasting her direction, she said she intends to present work with the broadest appeal. In describing her experience, she said her skills came from having worked at an array of jobs.
This is an “Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?” moment.
Jeez, you guys are better than that.
