Costa Mesa Ends Baseball Win Streak

Costa Mesa’s Tyler Corkhill slammed a three-run home run in the third inning to lead the Mustangs to a 6-3 upset of the Breakers last Friday, May 4, at the Mustang’s diamond. The loss was Laguna pitcher Blake Burzell’s first of the season and snapped Laguna’s 29 game league win streak and Burzell’s own win streak at 15.
