Workshops Zoom in on Digital Photo Skills

Registration is now open for the spring schedule of photography workshops at My Artist Loft. Three new six-week classes begin the week of March 7, including Beginning Digital Photography, Intermediate Digital Photography, and Adobe Photoshop Elements; and there will be a free preview of the workshops from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, at the United Methodist Church, 21632 Wesley Drive.

RSVP is required: [email protected] or 949-371-3375.

For the preview event, owner and instructor Mary Gulino will introduce the subjects covered in the My Artist Loft workshops, including the technical workings of the camera, aesthetic qualities of a great photograph, and ideal times, lighting, and situations for successful shooting. Gulino will also discuss the ways Adobe Photoshop Elements can be used to manipulate photographs and provide examples from her repertoire.

One-day workshops and one-on-one personalized lessons are also available. For information on group workshops and one-on-one personalized lessons, visit www.MyArtistLoft.com.
