Diane Kiesselbach

Diane Marie Kiesselbach, 79, of Laguna Beach, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her children on May 11, 2011.
Kiesselbach was born in Huntington Park, Calif., April 12, 1932, to Henry G. and Marie Catherine Rudolph. She attended Huntington Park schools St. Mathias and graduated high school from St Mary’s. She continued her education at Los Angeles City College, graduating with a certificate from the dental assisting program.
She enjoyed a successful 25-year career, most of it in management of the Laguna Beach High School cafeteria. Kiesselbach was a dedicated volunteer with the St. Catherine of Siena Council of Catholic Women, at the former South Coast Medical Center gift shop, and at St. Catherine’s Parish School where she began a program where young students read to volunteers.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Albert Leo Kiesselbach and her brother Paul Rudolph.
She is survived by her brother, David Rudolph (Meg); sister in law Kathleen Davis; children David Kiesselbach (Maria); Ann Pennington (Tim); Kevin Kiesselbach; Julie  Sullivan( Gary); and grandchildren, Michelle, John, Justin, Kenny, Tommy, Deanna, Briana, and Nate; and great grandchildren Arden and Ben.
Kiesselbach loved and gave her endless support to family and cherished her many friends and neighbors. Her friendly nature endeared her to LBHS students over the years.
Kiesselbach was a 48-year resident, of which 45 was spent in the family’s current home.
A memorial mass was held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church on May 17. Private internment will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, Kiesselbach requested donations to St. Catherine’s Parish or Parish School.
