Two winemaker dinners, June 6 and 18, are planned at The Loft restaurant at the Montage Resort.

The first features Kosta Brown wines paired with a five course dinner for $175 per person. The Allegra Antinori wine dinner on June 18 is $145 per person. Both are at 6 p.m.

Diner Dishes Up Frozen Delight

Irvine-based Ruby’s diner is scooping up free small scoops of Marianne’s ice cream, on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, from 2 -8 p.m.

The promotion continues on Tuesdays, June 3 and 10, by honoring fathers on “Daddy Date Night.” Kids 12 and under eat free on those days and receive a free junior cone with the purchase of an adult cone from 4 -8 p.m.

On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15, all dads receive a free cone.

Celebrate at Carnival

The Laguna Dance Festival celebrates its 10th season anniversary with a Brazilian-themed Carnival gala on June 21 at Seven Degrees, 891 Laguna Canyon Rd.

The 6:30 to 10 p.m. event includes a buffet dinner, live music and dance performances. Tickets are $200 at lagunadancefestival.org or 949-715-5578
