SchoolPower’s popular Dodgeball Tournament returns to the Laguna Beach High School gyms on Thursday, Oct. 10, and registration for prospective teams is underway now through Sept. 27.
In the schoolyard classic, champions are named from three divisions: fourth and fifth graders, sixth and eighth graders, and among high school students and adult teams. A prize is also awarded to the most creatively costumed team.
Teams must have six to eight players with at least two players of the opposite gender. Team slots are limited and usually sell out. Registration fees are $15 per student and $40 per adult. The first two high school teams that sign up will have free registration.
Spectators can attend the event for free. Tacos and beverages will be served when pre-ordered online.
The event raises funds for Laguna Beach public schools through registrations and sponsorships, which including Hobie.
