Summer Dvorak was selected a high school tennis All-American for this season, one of only 40 players nationally to receive this honor. The senior finished second in the Southern Section individual singles tournament and will be competing for Vanderbilt next year. She is currently a member of the Laguna Beach sand volleyball team.

Brian Ricker has been hired to direct the Costa Mesa tennis program. Ricker recently coached at Corona del Mar and previously coached boys and girls teams in Laguna between 2000-03, where the girls captured one league title. Mesa has struggled with tennis and did not field a boys team this season.
