Various Laguna Beach community organizations experienced an early Christmas thanks to gifts distributed at the annual holiday party for Village Laguna, a group that seeks to preserve village atmosphere.
Among the recipients were the Friendship Shelter, represented by Gary Jenkins; La Playa Center and Day Workers’ Center, represented by Sally Rapuano; the Laguna Beach Community Clinic, represented by Dr. Tom Bent; the Laguna Bluebelt Coalition and Kelpfest represented by Patsee Ober; the Laguna Canyon Foundation, represented by Johanna Felder; Laguna Pantry, represented by Elizabeth Haines; and the Laguna Beach High School Scholarship Committee represented by Betsy Jenkins.
