The view inside the historic chapel, now closed due to the spiritual leader's lack of a successor.

Exiled former worshipers at St. Francis by the Sea will resume services Sunday, Jan. 15, at 303 Broadway St., Suite 107, at 9 a.m., announced congregant Jessica deStefano.

Nora Lee, daughter of the longtime bishop, whose health is poor, recently locked the historic chapel. Some congregants have filed legal petitions with the court challenging her authority.

This week, Lee announced doors will reopen for a six-week 7 p.m. study group beginning Thursday, Feb. 2, led by Rev. Todd Rodarmel. His topic is “Beautiful Outlaw,” by John Eldredge, Lee said.
