Artist Zio Ziegler, who painted a mural in the Laguna Beach gallery Artists Republic during a recent show, will tackle a far larger canvas visible to motorists on the 405 freeway.

Over three days, Ziegler plans to cover a 15,000 square foot exterior wall of Tillys Ecommerce facility in Irvine, a mural that will become one of the largest public exhibitions in Orange County when completed by July 10. The work will remain on display for 90 days and is intended to raise awareness about local arts programs.

Pendleton’s work embellishes boards made by top skateboard brands as well as commercials, music posters, and murals.
