The board of directors of the Festival of Arts has approved the acquisition of five new pieces for the FOA’s Permanent Art Collection. “I was amazed and excited that there were a variety of works, that were not so costly, but represented the uniqueness, excellence, and what I feel is the evolution of the collection,” said Pat Sparkuhl curator of the collection.
The new works include pieces from printmaker Noriho Uriu, painter and LCAD grad Elizabeth McGhee, ceramicist Mike Tauber, mixed media artist Mariana Nelson and painter Mike Ward.
