Learn to Paint Wildflowers
Advance registration is required for a 9:30 a.m. acrylic painting workshop with Donita Lloyd, set for Thursday March 5, at Laguna Nursery.
Laguna Outreach for Community Arts is offering the class for participants to learn how to paint wildflowers. Lloyd will teach simple composition, color blocking and highlighting techniques. Everyone will take home a beautiful finished canvas. Cost is $30 or $125 for five classes.

“All I Want Is You,” a solo exhibition of over thirty recent drawings, paintings, prints, and sculpture by local artist Philip Womack, opens with a 6 p.m. reception Thursday, March 4, at Seven Degrees, 891 Laguna Canyon Road.
Fine Art Painter Featured at Artist Eye Gallery
Acrylic artist Terri Sopp Rae will be the featured at the Artist Eye Gallery, from March 1-31. An artist reception is set for First Thursdays Art Walk March 5 and March 21.

Group Show Opens at Local Gallery
Ten, a group exhibition of 10 artists living and working in Orange County, will feature live musical performances by Orange County punk rockers The Sanitys, as well as The Bent Duo during an opening reception, from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 at Artists Republic 4 Tomorrow, 1175 S. Coast Highway.
Artists Ben Brough, Chantal de Felice, Jeff Gillette, Jennie Cotterill, John Sollom, Mark Oblow, Shag, Suzanne Walsh, Tim Hendricks and Trace Mendoza were selected because of their talent and the impact they have made on the county’s art community, gallery co-owner Torrey Cook said in a statement.
Pacific Edge Opens its Backyard
“Paintings From The Backyard,” a new series of paintings by Sandra Jones Campbell opens this Saturday, Feb. 28 at Pacific Edge Gallery in Laguna Beach with a public reception for the artist from 6 to 9 .m.
The Laguna Beach based artist is known for her wittily observed paintings of people in their public and private moments. This new series of paintings is inspired by vintage photos and memories of the artist. The exhibition will continue through March 20.
