With Regard to Matters of Music4 getting-out-poul

The Music Matters weeknight showcase returns to the Cliff Restaurant, which started this week with a line-up that included musicians Poul Pederson and Nick Hernandez.

The live music sessions Monday through Thursday from  6:30 to 10 p.m. can be enjoyed at The Cliff’s outdoor Fireside Theater, 577 S. Coast Highway.

The My Hero Project is holding a screening of short films on Monday, April 1 from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the Susi Q Center, 380 Third St. Films being screened are “Kindness Counts at T.O.W.”, “The Ocean We Want To Know” and 2012’s Best of Fest and Ron Kovic Peace Prize Winner “Right to Play”. The 2012 My Hero Media Award Winner Malala Yousafzai will be in attendance.

Jazz Continues on Wednesdays

Laguna Beach Live! Jazz Wednesdays continues on April 3 with Jeff Hamilton and his trio at the Aliso Creek Inn, 31106 Coast Hwy.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and concert is from 6 to 8 p.m. Food and full bar are available. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. For more information or to pre-pay for tickets leave message at 949-715-9713.
