Residents John and Lisa Mansour have directed the Laguna Beach Community Foundation to send a $1,000 check to the Laguna Food Pantry from their donor-advised fund managed through the foundation.
“We thought about what would have the most impact, and we recognized that the Laguna Food Pantry makes every dollar go a long way toward assisting people who are experiencing tough times,” said Lisa Mansour.
Community Foundation Executive Director Dan Pingaro said the gift typifies the organization’s work connecting donors with local nonprofits that match their philanthropic intentions.
