Dr. Robert Dee McDonald, director of Irvine’s Center for New Medicine, will lead a one-day workshop, “Heart of Singing,” on Saturday, Aug. 11, that combines the step-by-step know-how of personal coaching in service of learning to sing and playful creativity. Singers of any skill level are welcome.
The 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. workshop will be held at the Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann’s Drive, and costs $195. Church members receive a $50 discount. A piano accompanist will play alongside participants, who are asked to bring favorite sheet music with them.
