I am writing to you to express concerns regarding the proposed lease to Chase Bank at the Albertson’s center on South Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, Calif.
We have enough banks to meet our needs in Laguna Beach. Our Laguna Beach City Council states that it is their expressed policy to encourage our residents to shop in our local stores. The proposed new alignment of leases in this center does not renew the existing lease of Animal Crackers, a local pet store. We have many pets in our town. The pet store fills a vital space in our community.
