Garden Lovers Explore Crescent Bay
Tickets are on sale for the Laguna Beach Garden Club’s Gate & Garden Tour, which this year peeks into the private yards of Crescent Bay on Saturday, May 3.
The $45 per person fundraiser offers a map, brochure, and round trip shuttle between the registration area and garden route, valet parking for a fee, homemade refreshments and club docents to answer questions.
The self-guided tour offers a rare peek into secluded gardens, which range from tidy traditional charmers, to stylish modern retreats, to the enviable grounds of a chateau.
Comfortable walking shoes are a must to navigate stairs and pathways. Unfortunately gardens are not handicap accessible or suitable for young children.
Tickets may be purchased at Laguna Drug, Laguna Nursery or Dana Point Nursery, or on line at lagunabeachgardenclub.org and by mail: P.O. Box 362, Laguna Beach, CA 92652. Tour day tickets are $50.
