“Into Her Own: Diane Nelson, 4 Decades in the Art World,” pays tribute to the former Laguna Beach gallerist as she retires from a 40-year career.

The exhibition of some 60 works of art opened this week at Doyle Arts Pavilion at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa and will continue through April 9. A 64-page, illustrated catalogue accompanies the exhibition, with an essay written by guest curator Susan M. Anderson that gives context to Nelson’s career while discussing the art, artists, and collectors she has highlighted over the years.
