Denver FBI agents on Monday arrested Adam Lynch, the “Ho Hum” bandit suspected in two Laguna Beach hold-ups and many others.

Lynch, 34, of Corte Madera, is suspected of robbing Laguna’s U.S. Bank last June 23 and July 24 as well as “a large number,” of stick-ups in Calif., Colo., Wash., and Wyo., says the Denver U.S. attorney’s website. A federal grand jury in Denver Tuesday issued a one-count robbery indictment for Lynch related to an Edgewater, Colo., robbery on March 16. He faces up to 20-years in prison, and a $250,000 fine if convicted.

“He wasn’t afraid of being seen on TV, so we suspected he wasn’t from this area,” said Laguna police Lt. Jason Kravetz.

Lynch, who made no effort to cover his face during local heists, escaped on foot even though authorities arrived within two minutes of the alarm.
