The LA Horn Quartet performs in the Live! at the Museum 7 p.m. concert series Thursday, Jan. 8.

Formed in early 2010, the quartet consists of friends Dylan Hart, Allen Fogle, Laura Brenes, and Annie Bosler drawn together by a mutual interest in expanding a horn quartet as an ensemble.

The group has commissioned works by young composers as well as written their own transcriptions of jazz, pop, rock, and classical standards, molding the typical horn quartet into a more versatile ensemble.

The concert is free to museum members and to non-members with museum admission.
