Tickets are on sale now for Laguna Beach Live!’s July 1 concert, The Latin Trumpet Summit, featuring trumpeters Bijon Watson and Gilbert Castellanos and players from other Latin jazz bands.
The first summer jazz concert last week sold out. They take place on the patio overlooking Aliso Canyon at The Ranch, 31106 S. Coast Highway.
Tickets for the 6-8 p.m. outdoor concert are $17 in advance and $22 at the door. Dinner tickets are $26.50 in advance and $30 at the door.

Music Tour Brings Act of Kindness
The Eidon clothing brand hosts music and art at the Hobie Surf Shop, 294 Forest Ave. in Laguna Beach, from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, June 26.
Skateboarder and songwriter Ray Barbee will provide entertainment along with glass artist Ryan Bryant, photographer Mark McInnis and graphic designer Kevin Ginther among others.
Admission is a can of food to be donated to local homeless shelters.
Sundance Winner Shown in Public Screening
The Sundance award-winning film, “Alive Inside,” will be shown at 10 a.m. at Laguna Presbyterian Church on Sunday, June 28.
The 90-minute film centers on a social worker who demonstrates music’s ability to help those who struggle with memory loss.
Meet Designers at Montage
Guests and locals are invited to meet and mingle with the designers behind fashion, fragrance, spa and jewelry brands at Montage Laguna Beach’s spa beginning July 3 and throughout the summer.
All are welcome from 4-6 p.m. for wine and new designer collections. Ron Robinson with Apothia Missoni Home Candles is first up on July 3.

Tavern Receives Its Peers’ Praise
Selanne Steak Tavern received hospitality and spirits recognition from the Santé Awards, created by the restaurant industry publication Santé Magazine.
The Laguna Beach restaurant owned by former Anaheim Duck’s hockey player Teemu Selanne and Kevin Pratt was chosen based on its wine list, characteristics and by-the-glass program.
