Family-Friendly Mash-up

 

Families are invited to participate in Milk and Cookies: Storytellers, featuring craft tables, live music, a photo booth and refreshments of milk and cookies on Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Boys and Girls Club.

 

The event is presented by retailer Active Rideshop and the children’s clothing line Mini & Maximus, which is bringing collaborative pieces made by 14 artists and their kids that will be auctioned with proceeds that benefit the club. Laguna’s AR4T Gallery is also involved, as is Sewn Clever,  and Sambazon.

 

Library Hosts Family Night

 

Comic Abbit the Average performs at the library.

Abbit the Average kicks off family fun at the Laguna Beach Library Tuesday, Dec. 13, 4-6 p.m., followed by holiday crafts and refreshments.

 

Treats are provided by the Friends of the Laguna Beach Library.

The library is a collection for Operation Santa Claus and Senior Santas, supporting the Spark of Love, Toys for Tots, and county’s Social Services Agency’s programs.

 

 

 

 

Grants Enable Arts for Boys & Girls

 

The Boys and Girls Club has partnered with Laguna Outreach Community Arts to establish free art classes for members throughout the school year.

 

The Club’s TLC Branch enlisted the help of Sherry Bullard, LOCA’s education program coordinator, to help obtain a grant to underwrite twice a month art projects.
