Dana Point author Kim Hooper will talk about her latest book, “People Who Knew Me,” at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 5 at, Laguna Beach Books, 1200 S. Coast Highway.
Hooper’s protagonist must confront her past in order to secure the future of her daughter.
Poets Read Their Winning Entries
The public is invited to participate in the culmination of the Laguna Beach Library annual poetry contest at noon Saturday, June 4, at the Surf & Sand Resort.
The top three winners in each age category will be recognized and invited to read their submissions to the 18th annual Laguna Beach Library Poetry Contest. Poet John Gardiner and friend to the poets, Kate Feinaur, are featured, says a statement from branch manager Jon Gilliom.
