Kylee Friederichs, a member of The Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, was selected out of many participants for her “Whales Tail” watercolor art piece. The winning artwork was submitted through an art contest posed by April Rath, the club’s arts director.
Wyland chooses winning art pieces submitted from budding artists that participate in the catamaran adventure and art classes. They won art supplies and gift certificates to the Wyland Gallery in Laguna Beach. The winning art piece also gets displayed in the Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching facility.
