Do you care about your children? You are responsible for the environment that you provide them.
If you do care and want to make a difference, you should consider joining the Laguna Beach Chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby, which advocates for Congressional passage of the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (HR 763), now before the House of Representatives. This measure would put a price on carbon, charged at the well, port, and mine. Proceeds from the fee would be returned in equal monthly installments to everyone with a Social Security number. Both Republicans and Democrats support this Act. Other countries have a carbon tax. This has been the most effective way to reduce carbon and fight global warming.

No matter what Americans and Europeans do, China, India, Africa, and poor third world countries will continue to burn wood, animal dung, peat, coal, diesel, kerosene, whale oil, and gasoline at prodigious rates for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is to obtain a modicum of comfort that Americans take for granted.
Meanwhile Eco-Hypocrites continue to drive to protest marches, Antifa beat-downs of Trump supporters, Earth Day Giggle Fests, city council meetings, their kids sporting events, movies, and vacations around the world.
It’s SO IMPORTANT to *save the earth* but as Rick Steves says every show, “Keep on traveling!” Drive to Lagoony for the Sawdust Festival, Pageant of the Masters, beaches, museums, restaurants, parks, concerts, you name it, drive down the Canyon and leave your money with US!
