With respect to Lewis Carroll: the “kind” intentions of the developer PAC, Liberate Laguna, and the candidates they endorse, bear a close similarity to the above protagonists. It will be interesting to see their version of a “new and improved” Laguna Beach. Your picture of the Cleo Street project in a previous edition provides a clue as to what is to come. Perhaps a better reference would be; “We had to destroy the village in order to save it.”
