Letter: Local News vs. National News

It does appear that the Indy is not exactly the forum best suited to national politics. As Tip O’Neil said, “all politics is local.” Can we keep it that way? There are far better venues for a nationwide discussion/argument, please. It also might be a smart thing to present facts along with opinions; we do get to have our own set of opinions, but not alternate facts. On another note, I, for one, am so glad that if pulled over by the LBPD, I do not need wonder if the officers are Canadian or Mexican.
