“The Hidden Lives of Librarians,” a novel by local author and community activist Bette Anderson, has recently been published by Publish Americas. The story reveals the behind-the-scenes lives of five librarians and the culture of a large Eastern school district.
“I wrote the book in an effort to change the stereotype of librarians,” says Anderson, who is also a former librarian. “These characters are anything but prim and proper.” The book can be obtained on-line.
