Laguna Niguel’s Crown Valley Divers recently won AAU National titles and Laguna Beach resident Mackenzie Peasley contributed to team points in her performance on the 1 and 3-meter springboard events.
Coach Ila Wilson said Mackenzie, 10 placed 9th on 3 meter where her
best dive was a reverse one and a half-sommersault in the tuck position. On 1
meter, she placed 4th with her best dive being a front sommersault with one
full twist.
Peasley also competed in the synchronized springboard competitions.
