“Not Your Time to Die,” the fourth novel by 40-year resident Ron Stock, was released last December.

Stock, a longtime insurance broker and track and field athlete, penned a novel about a 70-year-old sprinter who enters the 2016 Rio Olympics with the help Leslie, his guardian angel.

His first novel, “Moses, God’s Blessed Donkey,” recently received a top rating among self-published books by Writer’s Digest. His “Marblehead, Home of an Americana Medicine Show Family,” fictionalizes the true store of his family’s involvement in medicine shows, vaudeville and circuses.

“My grandmother’s sister was the first woman in America to own a circus that was actually larger than Ringling Brothers and featured Joe Louis, heavy weight champion of the world, as a celebrity sideshow,” Stock said in a statement.

Stock’s books are available from Amazon or ronaldstock.com.
