The Buy Hand store celebrates its grand opening on Thursday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. at 670 S. Coast Highway, Unit B.
The storefront offers handcrafted gifts and treasures, including work of local Southern California artisans.
Owner Kavita Reddy will unveil “The Handmade Promise,” an opportunity for guests to pledge towards the creation of a community art piece on permanent display. Those who pledge will receive a handmade product. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
Reddy’s goal is to provide a local “hub to celebrate humanity” by hosting engagements with artists, authors, yoga teachers, local businesses, and community members.
