On a recent trip to Thailand, Cindy and Rick Campbell, Laguna Beach residents and members of Laguna Presbyterian Church, took time to reinforce two connections to Laguna Beach.

In Chaing Mai, the largest city in northern Thailand, the Campbells visited Aimee George, niece of two local doctors who are also church members. She is stationed there as an intern with International Justice Mission and is working to help indigenous people document citizenship so they may vote and can record and legally own property. The organization, which the church supports with annual contributions, is also known for its efforts on behalf of victims of slavery, sexual exploitation, and other forms of violent oppression.

Also in Chaing Mai, the couple visited Brett and Shelly Faucett, independent missionaries funded by donations through Interserve USA. The church also supports the Faucetts through Interserve USA.

Questions can be directed to Cindy Campbell at Laguna Beach Presbyterian Church.
