Veterans Stage 88th Memorial Day Ceremony
Laguna Beach American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars will conduct the 88th Memorial Day ceremony in remembrance of their comrades who died in wars and conflicts protecting our country at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 25, at Monument Point in Heisler Park.
O.C. Supervisor Lisa Bartlett is the keynote speaker. Music will begin at 10:30 a.m. The public is invited to come early as seating is limited.
It is suggested that flowers be delivered by 10:30 a.m.

The Laguna Beach Exchange Club’s annual Memorial Day a
A great view and great entertainment is included in the $5 cost where police serve coffee and firefighters flip flapjacks.
The spread takes place at the picnic area below Myrtle and Cliff Drives from 7 to 10:30 a.m.
The breakfast is the Exchange Club’s largest fundraiser. Proceeds are donated to child abuse prevention, as well as community and youth projects, says organizer and member Sande St. John, who expressed her appreciation for sponsors that include Las Brisas, White House and Orange Inn restaurants.

Band Tunes Up for Patriotic Concert
Arrive early to stake out a seat for the Laguna Concert Band’s Memorial Day concert at 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 25, on the Main Beach cobblestones.
The 90-minute show features the 70-piece Laguna band, which performs patriotic and a few surprises as well.
Bring a blanket or beach chair.
