Eco-conscious Films Set to Screen
Transition Laguna is screening “How to Boil a Frog,” on Jan. 12, at 7 p.m., at Bridge Hall at the Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann’s Drive.
Come by early with a dish for the vegetarian potluck at 6 p.m.
The comedic documentary will give viewers suggestions on how to make an impact on the environment and improve lives now.
A $5 donation is suggested.
Series Examines Sustainability in Film
Laguna Beach Film Society’s documentary series The Earth’s Sustainability in Film begins Friday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m. with a double bill in the Forum Theater.
“Garbage Warrior,” about renegade architect Michael Reynolds who builds homes from recycled materials; and, “Plastic Tide,” about the islands of plastic trash in our oceans.
Tickets are $15 at the door the day of the performance.
