Editor,
How come the lifeguards are able to park on the sand (flood basin) at Coast Highway/ Broadway blocking visitors first awesome view of our beach? The first thing we see when entering into Laguna Beach is basically a parking lot for lifeguards.
As I type, there are three pick-ups there now. Is this the impression we want give visitors?
Did the city pay all that money for the new lifeguard station and forget where they will park?
If this is the case, why not tarmac the entire area, stripe it and charge?
