Special Menus Set Easter Brunch Apart

Two local eateries are offering Easter Sunday brunch.

At Nirvana Grille, 303 Broadway St., diners can select starters such as chicken wontons or blue lump crab cakes and entrees of huevos rancheros, serrano crusted prawns or gluten free almond pancakes.

Fresh fruits and side orders are included in the $29-$19 tab, per person, excluding gratuity and beverages. RSVP at [email protected].

The Surf and Sand Resort, 1555 S. Coast Highway,¬†is offering a seaside Easter at¬†Splashes. From 12 -3 p.m. a three-course lunch includes savory and sweet choices like spiced peach and plum salad, compressed salmon dumplings and crisp Brussel sprouts. Main course selections include lobster and spinach benedict, Mary’s garlic half-chicken and a Blac Forest carrot vegetarian delight. Desserts of white chocolate lemon tart and red ginger panna cotta top off the feast.

Reservations are recommended and fare for the lunch is $65 per person.
