Mixing financial literacy with culture, 50 veterans who graduated from a job placement program took part in a banking seminar and then attended the final performance Sunday of the Pageant of the Masters at the Festival of Arts.
Veterans in the audience were asked to stand to be recognized for their bravery as well as thanked for their service by Pageant narrator Richard Doyle. They received a standing ovation and soprano Ani Maldjian sang the national anthem.
The special event paired the Wells Fargo Foundation with Working Wardrobe VetNet.
