Jack Loechner and Jack Wills made history during the opening week of the Laguna Beach Little League season.

The pair of Jacks pitched a perfect game for Hobie, which beat Rotary 11-0, on March 7. No walks, no runs, no hits, and no errors. They retired 18 Rotary batters in a row.

Loechner pitched four flawless innings, striking out 10 players. Wills pitched the final two innings, striking out five players.

Hobie got on the board in the first inning with a homerun by Loechner. Hits by Josh McManus, Wills, and Thomas Garcia pushed across another run.

With the score 3–0 in the fourth inning, walks to Kent Cebreros, Wills, and William Lichtenstein and key hit by Thomas Garcia pushed across three more runs.

Hobie scored five additional runs in the fifth and sixth innings with key at bats by Lance Stewart, Lucas Blow, Connor Sorensen, Wills, Loechner, Garcia and McManus.
