Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve will host Jet Propulsion Laboratory Lead Engineer Ben Cichy on Saturday, Sept. 22 in special presentations for families at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Guests can enjoy hiking under the night sky and participate in stargazing with Astronomy 4 You.
On Saturday, Sept. 29, at Irvine Regional Park from 6 to 9 p.m. JPL’s Dr. Ashwin Vasavada from the Mars Science Laboratory Mission will deliver a special educational presentation and showcase the Curiosity rover.
Events are free and open to the public.
