Editor,
Why does the Indy subject the children and other citizens of our community to the musings of an Indy columnist perving in Cuba?
The glorification and promotion of sex tourism and prostitution in the June 12 column “Surprises Behind Cuba’s Socialist Curtain” is way too creepy!
Is the author unaware that “Cuba is a source country for adults and children subjected to sex trafficking…” as reported in the U.S Department of State’s Trafficking in Persons Report 2014?
From the detailed content of the column, it’s quite obvious the author is thoroughly aware and knowledgeable of the sex trade in Cuba. “…Oh, boy.”
What columns will we see next? “Musings on the Streets of Bangkok,” “Adventures in Amsterdam”, or perhaps “Romping thru Rio.”
