The Orange County Grand Jury has released two reports on homelessness and OC jail food.

In “Where There’s Will, There’s a Way,” the Grand Jury presented possible solutions for homelessness including the development of a Permanent Supportive Housing plan.

Another report titled “Jail Food: Reservation Required,” found that OC jail food meets nutritional and regulatory standards and is handled properly but inmates are not allowed enough time to eat by state regulations.

Additional reports on other topics of interest are expected to be released over the next six weeks, culminating in publication of the Grand Jury’s Final Consolidated Report on or before June 30.

The public can access the full report at ocgrandjury.org.
