Avran Invites Guest to See and Feel

A solo exhibition, “Recovering the Tactile: Celebrating the Physical through Color, Shape and Texture,” opens at Avran Gallery, 540 S. Coast Highway, from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, April 23.

Artist Father Bill Moore is a contemporary American painter who takes items from the desert or the streets of Los Angeles and incorporates them into his artwork. Viewers are encouraged to touch his paintings, because the oil of human hands makes the plastics in the acrylics more human.
