A Laguna native, Crevier is well known for his generosity to local organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, SchoolPower and the Laguna Playhouse. His support of LBHS grads was established in 2000 with the Daphne Crevier Memorial Scholarship, honoring his mother, and amended the following year to include a memorial for his sister, April.

Crevier interviews and selects each recipient himself and continues to follow their academic careers, offering aid and guidance when needed. This year, Crevier scholarships were awarded to eight seniors who embody his motto to “do the right thing for the right reason.”

Crevier did not attend the event, a foundation spokeswoman said.

After graduating from LBHS and studying business in college, Crevier began working for Theodore Robins Ford. He later joined his father and uncle at Crevier BMW, becoming a partner in 1975, and continued to manage and operate the company until he sold the business in 2011. He is currently the owner of Crevier Classic Cars.

The LBHSSF was founded in 1947 by the Ebell Club community service organization. Since then, the program has grown through the efforts of community volunteers, who serve on the board and work with school staff to support the scholarship process. For more info: visit lbhssf.org.
