Passing on Flag Traditions
In honor of Veteran’s Day, Sunday, Nov. 13 marked a day when Webelos 1 Cub Scouts of Laguna Beach Pack 35 learned about how to honor our nation’s flag. Led by Laguna Beach Lifeguard, Captain Tom Trager and Veteran Rick Rosal, the scouts learned how to hoist, fold, and care for our flag in front of the Main Beach Lifeguard Tower.
Brownies Live Up to Their Name
A merry band of Laguna Niguel Brownies swooped into the Laguna Resource Center’s food pantry last week with literally hundreds of pounds of food.
These lively young ladies collected food as a project in community service, the sort of blessing the Resource Center needs, said chair Andy Siegenfeld.
With a slim operating budget, the local non-profit provides a vital service supplying food to needy residents, many from Laguna Beach.
