The public is invited to the dedication of “Sea Breeze” at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, installed at a Main Beach overlook in Heisler Park adjacent to the Inn at Laguna Beach.
The dedication of the sculpture by Sukhdev Dail that features a figure holding aloft a canopy of colored glass will be followed by a reception at Forest & Ocean Gallery, 480 Ocean Ave.
Art & Nature Exhibit to Close at Gallery Q
The Art & Nature exhibit featuring the work of 38 artists is on display from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Susi Q Senior Center’s Gallery Q. The exhibit at 380 Third St. closes Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Cove Gallery Puts a Spotlight on KL Heagen
After a 20-year career in graphic design, KL Heagen returned to her love of oil painting full time. Abstract landscapes inspired by her worldly travels are her signature contemporary style and featured this month at Cove Gallery, 1492 S. Coast Highway.
The artist-owned gallery features 14 artists specializing in a contrast of styles in all mediums.
