Advanced reservations are now being accepted for a Saturday morning art workshop Jan. 2 set at the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Canyon.
The 9 a.m. workshop through Laguna Outreach for Community Arts includes a docent lead tour of the center and a close up view of live sea lions, purple urchins, and actual whalebones.
Following the tour, instructor September McGee will lead a hands-on art class.
Cost, including art supplies, is $20 adults /$15 ages 6-18 accompanied by an adult. Free on-site parking. Advanced registration is required at (949) 363-4700 700.
